In Remembrance of Matt Foley

Long time friend of Camp Hickory Hill, Matt Foley, went home to be with the Lord early Sunday morning, January 29th. Matt was often seen at camp at the rifle range, archery range, helping Clarence, cooking chicken with Ben or even at the pond. (He served where needed but asked not to be needed at the pond again, if possible.)

Matt was between jobs, so he was back again helping Clarence & Steven on a regular basis. He recently helped with the changes in cabin 10 and also made some nice furniture for the fund raiser and for the new cottages.

We will certainly miss our friend but we know he is in heaven and we will see him again.

Please pray for Matt’s wife Nancy and for Crossroad Christian Church. There is a huge hole in their lives now. I am sure Matt served in many ways at the church but we are most familiar with him serving as a leader in their CSB program. Matt & Nancy were regulars from Crossroads at the registration table for the Iron Sharpens Iron Men’s Conferences.
