8/7/01 - I attended the Canadian High Adventure Trip.  It was a blast!

2001 - 2002
Anger, Dan dangermanagement@hotmail.com After three years of being a counsler at Camp, I finally get to be the "big shot" program director, see ya in the summer! 2/9/04
Babcock, Ed pastored@lifecentrepa.com I started at CHH on the weekend the old barn burned down in 1961 (?) For the next 21 yrs I missed only 1 summer. Took a few years off & came back as The Exe. Director. Was a Jr & Sr Leader, EMT, Craft Leader, Venture Bound Leader, Prgm Asst, Prgm Director & Camp Pastor. Heard Men of God share their testimony around 100's of Campfires. This, the lives of my fellow leaders & the mentoring of Jack Corbett, have brought me to serve as the Pastor of The Life Centre in Pottsville PA. I think of CHH & apply the principles I learned at camp every day. HEY! Win somebody to Christ THIS WEEK!

Updated 5/14/05 - I flew out to LA in April for a Church meeting.  Went out to the Rental car shuttle and who do I run into after 30 years?  AL WRIGHT!!! It was a God-Moment. Love to tell you about it.  He is doing great, has 6 kids, and is the VP of Developement at Green Lake Conference Center in Wisconsin.  Livin the Life, Lovin the Lord.  If you want to contact him email me

Brandes, Gary heers44@aol.com

As a son of one of the original founders of CHH I spent most of my weekends helping develop the camp." Captain Jim", passed away in late June this year going home to be with his Lord who he served faithfully for many years. My memories of CHH are inter-twined with those of my father and his vision for both CHH & Christian Service Brigade. Since I live in the Midwest I do not have occasion to visit the camp but remember helping to plant those magnificent pine trees that greet you as you enter the property.

2001 - 2002
Buhr, Brian briman78_2000@yahoo.com  I was a camper from 91-97. In 97 I worked in service crew and in 98 along with 19 other guys I became a leader in training. Chapman, Brian brian@parkviewcommunity.com I was never a camper but spent every week of every summer here for 9 years.    Everything I did from LIT to PD was rewarding and challenging, but the best was always KP.  Since CHH I've done overseas ministry, taught ESL, and currently am on pastoral staff in the Chicago area.  As with many of you, I am indebted to the work God did in me through His faithful servants at Hickory Hill.  10/7/03

Lots of great memories, teaching archery, working in the kitchen, spending a week "roughing it" at the NTO, working with Karl Polland, and  getting to hear "Uncle Joe" Coughlin speak at a campfire one summer.
God Bless,
Jim Dunne

Graham, Alissa qh_fuzzypickles_jam@yahoo.com I Love CHH! It Rocks. I have been going to chh since i was in diapers, and i usually stay in the "hill cabins" and i love them. i go every memorial day and labor day weekend. the pond is  awesome! so many memories! like the year it rained and washed out the road, campfire songs, bonfires, flashlight tag, canoeing (haha james), and horseback riding!
We come every Labor and Memorial weekends. If you are a regular attendee of CHH you could prolly know me as one of the "Hill people", I love this place and i have soo many memories of it!! My fav thing ever was when we went hiking and me and my friends got lost on the way to the old mud pit. but we were really just right there behind the cabins. And the year when the road washed out. I miss the church services in the late evenings where I learned so many cool songs, like "little red wagon".  the pond rocks!!
